Home to American Legion, Babe Ruth baseball and Pop Warner football, this popular recreation area is named after Rudolph Fino - an Army veteran who became Milford's first casualty of World War II when he was fatally wounded in Tunisia, North Africa. The field's ample parking area separates a baseball diamond and football field from a practice area known as the Fino Annex. Fino Field is also adjacent to the town pool and another baseball diamond used by Babe Ruth teams: Robert P. Votolato Field.

The Milford Play Initiative is a volunteer group aimed to raise awareness of the need and resources for a centrally located playground that offers a play space for all ages and connects families within the Milford Community. The collaboration among this committee increases the resources available and community ownership of this initiative.
